Literary and media reflections to be digested and reviewed...

Tale Talk Series –  20 June

Did I say a Diet?

Marathon has its moments

Countdown had its;

Diets had their moments

but chocolate’s constance has its

Chocolate’s preference moments

Defers reflections til afters

Counting no calories for befores

For constance is chocolate’s preference

Momentary reflections defer

selections of dietary fibres

but chocolate and marathons

have their moments

which don’t come in spares

or squares

except for those times

when eaten or beaten in slow motion

Motion or commotion in reflections

haven’t that digression

that marathons spur the mind to

for near indigestion

On course for a headlong

Track-athon.

Digressing to a chocolate ‘marzipan’

Did I say diets were necessary?

Alice's Mate

Dodo, my part
Singing, my part
'.... The English Tourists,
Make their way to The Coast of Spain'*
Dancing, my part
Twirling, my body
Gently, I'm swaying
On Stage at School
Always wondering why
my hair was not blond.
